LG presents variant G7 ThinQ smartphone with OLED screen and without notch

LG has presented the V35 ThinQ smartphone. The smartphone has an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6 “and without a notch. The recently released G7 ThinQ has an LCD with a so-called notch. The phone is not yet coming to the Benelux.

The V35 ThinQ shares many features with the G7 ThinQ. For example, it has the same soc, the same capacity storage, the same cameras and many of the same features as the G7 ThinQ, including a way to merge information from four pixels in a low-light photo for a better, lower-resolution photo.

The housing is the same as that of the V30, released late last year, with glass on the front and back and a 6″ OLED screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2880×1440 pixels. The phone measures 151.7×75.4mm. and is 7.3mm thick.In the housing is a 3300mAh battery.

The V35 ThinQ is part of the strategy to release fewer new and more variants of existing phones, LG reports. The V35 ThinQ is the third variant of the V30, after the V30S ThinQ came out earlier this year. The new strategy should reduce costs and extend the life cycle of high-end models. The V35 ThinQ will be released in June in the Americas, followed by select countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The phone is not yet coming to Europe.
