LG presents V20 smartphone on September 6
LG announces that the V20 smartphone will be presented at an event in San Francisco on September 6. The device should be the new top model of the manufacturer and will be one of the first smartphones with Android 7.0 Nougat.
Earlier this week, LG already announced that the V20 will come in September, but a specific date was not yet known. The manufacturer has now announced on its Korean website that the introduction will take place on September 6.
The V20 is the new flagship of the manufacturer and gets “enhanced multimedia capabilities”, LG promises. LG added extras to the V10, including a second screen on the front, a second selfie camera with a wide viewing angle and a high-quality dac for better sound quality. It is expected that the new model will have similar features or improvements thereof.
The current top model, the LG G5, is not a success for the manufacturer. In the past two quarters, the manufacturer managed to achieve less revenue from smartphone sales. At the presentation of the latest figures, the manufacturer already hinted at the arrival of a new top model that should improve sales.
