LG has released two new models in its K series of smartphones. The K8 and K5 join the K10, K7 and K4 that the South Korean manufacturer previously unveiled. The phones will probably cost between 100 and 200 euros.

The K8 is the more expensive of the two and has a 5″ screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, with convex glass over it. The device runs on Android Marshmallow and has an undisclosed quad-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.3GHz Presumably it is a Snapdragon 212 from Qualcomm, with Adreno 304 GPU and 4G support in the modem.

The K5 with Android Lollipop also has a 5″ screen, but with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The soc also has four processor cores at a maximum of 1.3GHz, but because the K5 does not support 4G, there is a chance that it is a different processor. soc, for example from MediaTek.

LG only mentions that the K5 will be coming to Europe, although it is obvious that the K8 will also be released. Given the prices of the K10 and K4, it is obvious that both devices will receive prices between 100 and 200 euros, although LG says nothing about it.
