LG has presented a midrange variant of its G4 smartphone. The G4s includes a color spectrum sensor like the G4, but it compromises on other things. For example, the storage is 8GB, compared to 32GB of the regular G4.

Although the camera of the G4s, in addition to a color spectrum sensor to determine the correct color temperature for photos, also has laser autofocus for faster autofocus in less light, LG has put a different camera in the phone. It is a module with a maximum resolution of eight megapixels. At least, that’s true everywhere except Latin America, where the G4s comes with a 13-megapixel camera.

The phone has a 5.2″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615-soc, with eight Cortex A53 cores and an Adreno 405 GPU, assisted by a RAM of 1 size. 5GB The storage is 8GB, a quarter of the 32GB that the regular G4 has on board LG does not mention an SD card slot.

Whether and when the G4s, which in some countries will be called G4 Beat, will appear in the Benelux is not yet known. The device should appear in Europe in the coming months, where the target price would be around 400 euros.
