LG will release the first two smartphones in its new mid-range X series next month. The X cam has two cameras on the back, one with a resolution of up to thirteen megapixels and the other with a resolution of five megapixels.

LG also makes little known about the models, which will be shown for the first time at the Mobile World Congress telecom fair in Barcelona next week. The manufacturer has only shared images of the front and thus does not show the back with the two cameras. It is LG’s first smartphone with two cameras on the back after the Optimus Pad and Optimus 3D from 2011. The manufacturer does not mention what the two cameras are for, but in other smartphones, such as the HTC One M8 and Honor 6 Plus from Huawei. , the software can store depth information through the second camera and apply photo effects.

The device has a 5.2″ LCD with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It runs on an octacore processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.14GHz, presumably a MediaTek MT6753 with eight Cortex A53 cores and a Mali T720MP3 GPU. The device has 2GB memory and 16GB storage capacity. The battery has a capacity of 2520mAh.The phone measures 14.8×7.4cm and is 6.9mm thick at the thickest point.

The other new midrange smartphone is the X screen, which, like the recently released V10, has a second screen on the front. The primary screen has a diagonal of 4.93″ and a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, while the second LCD measures 1.76″ and has 520×80 pixels on board. The device runs on an undisclosed quad-core processor at a maximum clock speed of 1.2GHz.

The phone measures 14.3×7.2cm and is 7.1mm thick. Just like the X cam, the X screen has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space. The battery capacity is 2300mAh. Both phones run on Android 6.0 and they are the first devices that LG announces with this Android version.

Both devices should be released next month, including in Europe. The manufacturer has not yet announced prices. LG will hold an event ahead of the Mobile World Congress telecom fair next Sunday. There it will present its main smartphone G5.
