LG introduces Android One smartphone G7 One
LG has announced its first Android One smartphone. The G7 One runs on stock Android and includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-soc. LG has also introduced the G7 Fit, which does not have Android One. It is not yet clear whether the phones will also come to the Benelux.
The LG G7 One has a notch at the top and has a 6.1 “display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels and a screen ratio of 19.5:9. The device has 4GB of ram and 32GB of storage, which is a micro- SD card can be expanded and the phone also includes the Boombox speaker from the G7 ThinQ, a 3.5mm jack and a quad-dac.
The G7 One does not have a dual camera; on the back is a single camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.6 and on the front is an 8 megapixel one with an aperture of f/1.9. The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh and the device runs on Android 8.1.
The South Korean manufacturer has also introduced the LG G7 Fit. This device is broadly similar to the G7 One, with the main difference being the lack of Android One and the integration of a slightly slower soc. The G7 Fit features the Snapdragon 821, has 4GB of ram and 32 or 64GB of storage. Furthermore, the specifications largely correspond to those of the G7 One.
A spokesperson for LG could not say whether the devices will come to the Benelux and what price tags will be attached to them. Perhaps this information will be announced in the coming days, as the devices will be shown at the IFA fair in Berlin.
