LG has developed a browser optimized for smartphones with two screens in collaboration with the South Korean search engine Naver. Next week, the manufacturer will show new smartphones with two screens.

LG is going to put the Whale browser, which is based on Chromium, standard on its smartphones with two screens. The manufacturer currently has one such device in its range; the LG V50 ThinQ 5G introduced earlier this year. That is a regular smartphone that can be provided with a second screen by means of an optional cover.

LG says more smartphones are on the way that support LG Dual Screen. The manufacturer will announce new devices next week at the IFA fair in Berlin. LG and Naver do not yet show images of the Whale browser. According to the description, it includes a split screen mode to display two sites on one tab and it should be easy to quickly switch between sites on two screens.
