LG announces new soundbars for 2023

LG is announcing its soundbar lineup for next year. The manufacturer will show the new models in detail at CES 2023, but will already come up with some new features that these soundbars will be equipped with.

The new soundbars get a feature that LG WOWCAST calls. This allows soundbars to be connected wirelessly to LG televisions. It is not clear whether the soundbars will also support this functionality for other televisions.

Furthermore, the soundbars are equipped with AI Sound Pro from LG. This function recognizes what kind of content is being played and then automatically adjusts the settings according to the type of content. That way you would not have to switch yourself between, for example, a profile for gaming or for watching a movie. For gaming, pass-through is also possible at 4K resolution at 120Hz and the soundbar supports VRR.

LG also shows the first images of one of the soundbars: the LG SE6. This is a soundbar with a compact form factor. A long soundbar for under a television is also part of the line-up. During CES 2023, LG wants to announce more about the line-up and release of the new soundbars.
