LG has revealed the first details of the V40 ThinQ smartphone. The full announcement of the smartphone is not until next week. The V40 ThinQ should follow last year’s V30.

LG shows, among other things, that the V40 ThinQ has three cameras on the back, but does not say what they are for. It is obvious that in addition to a regular camera, there is also a camera with a wide-angle lens, because it can also be found on the G7 ThinQ, V30 and G6 that LG released earlier. For example, the third camera could have a telephoto lens for extra zoom, but the manufacturer does not say anything about that for the time being. In the part of the cameras are also an RGB sensor to measure the color in the environment for taking photos and videos and a laser for autofocus.

The V40 ThinQ has a 6.4 “screen, while the housing is the same width as the V30. It has a width of about 75 mm. LG has done this by reducing the edges around the screen. The phone also has a notch in the screen, as it turned out earlier this week when a render came out.The images that LG has put online show that there is a fingerprint scanner on the back.

LG will announce the V40 ThinQ next Wednesday. In addition, the manufacturer seems to emphasize the amount of cameras. There are three at the back and reportedly two at the front, bringing the total to five. When the V40 will be released and how much it will cost is still unknown.
