Lenovo Yoga 9i gets 4k OLED screen and Intel Alder Lake processor

Lenovo introduced four new Yoga laptops at CES. Among other things, the company comes with a Yoga 9i convertible with an OLED screen. In addition, the manufacturer shows a Yoga 6 with an AMD Ryzen CPU and two Yoga 7i models with an Intel Alder Lake chip.

Lenovo provides the Yoga 9i with a 14″ touchscreen with an OLED panel, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a 4k resolution. According to Lenovo, that screen can display 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and the panel is certified for DisplayHDR 500 True Black specification The manufacturer also talks about Dolby Vision support.

The Yoga 9i comes with up to an Intel Core i7-1260P CPU and an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU. The laptop will receive Intel Evo certification, among other things, and will come with up to 16GB of Lpddr5 memory and up to 1TB of M.2 storage. Next to the keyboard are some function buttons, with which, for example, the battery saving mode can be switched on or can be switched between the light and dark mode of Windows.

Furthermore, the Yoga 9i gets two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, a larger touchpad than previous models and Wi-Fi 6E support. The Yoga 9i will be available online in April and will be available in stores from July. A model with Core i5 CPU will cost 1499 euros; the i7 variant has a suggested retail price from 1599 euros.

Yoga 7i in 14″ and 16″ variants and Yoga 6 with AMD Ryzen CPU

Lenovo also comes with two Yoga 7i models. The first variant of that 2-in-1 laptop will have a 14″ OLED screen with a lower ‘2.8k’ resolution, which can also display the full DCI-P3 color spectrum and supports Dolby Vision and up to an Intel Core i7. -1260P. This model has a suggested retail price of EUR 1099 and will be available online in May.

The company is also showing a 16-inch model of the Yoga 7i, which has an LCD with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 60Hz. This variant will receive up to an Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, which has a higher tdp and has two extra P-cores compared to the 1260P in the other models. The 16″ variant also gets a separate Intel Arc video card. Both Yoga 7i models can be equipped with a maximum of 32GB Lpddr5 memory and a 1TB SSD. The Yoga 7i 16″ will be released in May and will cost 1199 euros.

Lenovo is also introducing a lower positioned Yoga 6 laptop. This 2-in-1 will have a 13-inch screen with a full-HD resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The manufacturer writes that this laptop supports Dolby Vision. The company provides the Yoga 6 with a maximum of an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U , 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD.The notebook will also be available from May and has a suggested retail price from 899 euros.
