At its own Lenovo World event, Lenovo showed a Motorola prototype of a smartphone that can be bent around the wrist. The manufacturer also showed this seven years ago.

The new prototype has a regular 6.9″ OLED screen and a soft fabric on the back, Motorola reports. It is also possible to place the prototype in a tent mode, standing on the table, for example. It is unknown whether and how the manufacturer has made components such as the PCB and the battery bendable.

It is the new version of an idea that Lenovo also showed seven years ago. Lenovo has not said anything about if and when the concept would come to market as a product. There are no exact specs either.
