Lenovo shows 2-in-1 with ARM processor that runs Windows

Lenovo has shown a 2-in-1 equipped with an ARM processor at the CES fair. The Miix 630 runs Windows 10 S, although an upgrade to Windows 10 Pro is also possible. The device is equipped with a detachable keyboard.

The Lenovo Miix 630 features a kickstand and can be supplied with a detachable keyboard and stylus. The touchscreen has a wuxga+ resolution. Furthermore, the Miix 630 can get 4GB or 8GB of ram and a maximum of 256GB of storage.

In terms of connections, the tablet is equipped with USB-C and a micro-SD card connection. Thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the tablet has built-in 4G support. The battery life should be twenty hours.

The 2-in-1 is capable of running Windows software on the ARM processor using x86 emulation. Windows 10 itself is compiled for ARM. Earlier, Asus and HP announced a computer with Snapdragon processor.
