Lenovo has shipped 44 percent more PCs to Europe, the Middle East and Africa in recent months than in the same period the year before. The manufacturer has delivered a total of 15.7 million PCs worldwide and remains the market leader.

How many PCs, of which the manufacturer includes both laptops and desktops, Lenovo has sold in Europe, the manufacturer keeps to itself, but the Chinese company does mention in the quarterly figures that with those 44 percent more PCs it realized a total of 33 percent more turnover. . This shows that the average selling price of a PC in Europe, the Middle East and Africa has fallen.

Lenovo remains the market leader in PCs. It has a market share of around 20 percent, Lenovo says based on figures from analyst firm IDC. The Chinese manufacturer also claims market leadership in the ‘PC + tablets’ category, a combination of sales of PCs and tablets, in which Apple has been the market leader until now.

The Chinese manufacturer sold a total of 1.6 million smartphones and 1.8 million tablets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, making it still a small player here. Lenovo is now the world’s largest in the smartphone market after Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi, but just like Xiaomi, this is mainly due to deliveries in its home country of China.
