Lenovo has published specifications of unannounced AMD Ryzen PRO 5000 desktop processors. These chips are intended for businesses and will include additional security features. AMD previously released Ryzen PRO 5000 CPUs for laptops.

Lenovo calls three different Ryzen PRO 5000 processors to be available in his ThinkStation P358 workstation, noted Twitter user 9550pro. AMD would introduce a Ryzen 9 PRO 5945, AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5845 and Ryzen 5 PRO 5645, which differ in terms of core numbers, clock speeds and the amount of cache.

The top model, the Ryzen 9 5945 Pro, will have twelve cores with a clock speed of 3.0GHz and a boost clock of up to 4.7GHz. This means that the processor is clocked slightly lower than the Ryzen 9 5900X. The chip also gets 64MB L3 cache and official DDR4-3200 support. The company continues with a Ryzen 7 model with eight cores and a Ryzen 5 CPU with six cores. Lenovo also talks about 65W TDPs.

AMD has been releasing Ryzen PRO CPUs for some time now. Those processors are intended for businesses and will include additional security features and extended support. The chips can also be managed remotely. The chips are otherwise largely similar to their consumer counterparts and use the AM4 platform, much like the current Ryzen 5000 consumer CPUs.
