Lenovo seems to be working on new standalone VR glasses
Lenovo seems to be planning to bring new VR glasses to the market soon. It is probably a successor to the Mirage Solo, which does not need to be connected to a PC for the necessary computing power.
The manufacturer has not made any announcements itself, but its existence has been confirmed through a registration with the US FCC. There, the model number VR3030S is mentioned as virtual reality glasses. The FCC website also states that it is a standalone model, so no connection to a computer is required for the necessary computing power to generate images.
Furthermore, the registration with the American authorities provides little information. It is clear that there are bluetooth and WiFi connections on board, but for the rest it is not known which hardware is used. There are also no images yet.
Because Lenovo has not yet unveiled the new VR glasses, it is not known when it should be released. The manufacturer previously released the Mirage Solo, also VR glasses that can function independently of a PC.
