Lenovo releases multi-touch monitor
Lenovo has announced three new displays. These are 21.5″, 23″ and 24″ models. They all support a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and the 24″ model can also be operated with the fingers.
The L2416x has a TN panel with multi-touch support, a brightness of 300cd/m² and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 8 kg screen does not have a normal base, but an adjustable support at the back. This system is also used in many all-in-one systems. The monitor also has a USB hub, speakers, a 2-megapixel camera and a microphone. The brightness can be controlled, among other things, via the touch-sensitive buttons on the edge. Control is via a D-sub or HDMI cable.
The L2361p is one inch smaller and, like its bigger brother, has a TN panel and a support on the back. The screen weighs 5.35kg, has a brightness of 250cd/m² and can be connected via D-sub or HDMI. Speakers are built-in and the webcam has a resolution of 0.3 megapixels.
The smallest member, the L2261, has a more traditional design with its normal foot. As with the other two screens, the panel uses tn technology. The screen weighs 4.37 kg and can be connected via D-sub or DVI.
The three screens have a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a response time of 5ms and a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. For the 24″ model must be deposited 885 euros. At the time of writing, no prices were known for the other two screens.
