Lenovo is working on third foldable Motorola razr phone
Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo’s Chinese mobile arm, says his company is working on a successor to the Motorola razr. The smartphone seems to get mainly general improvements and should first appear in China.
That new razr phone should in any case get a faster soc, a better interface and a different design, the manager writes on Weibo. Further details are not yet given. It is also not clear when the new foldable phone will appear.
Lenovo released its most recent razr phone, the razr 5G, last September. This smartphone has a 6.2″ screen on the inside of the fold that opens to an elongated smartphone. On the outside is a 2.7″ screen to read notifications, for example. This phone got a Snapdragon 765 and cost 1499 euros. The first razr smartphone appeared earlier that year.
