Lenovo introduces USB-C monitors with thin bezels
Lenovo presents a 23.8″ monitor and a 27″ version in its ThinkVision series. Both monitors have a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and are equipped with an IPS panel. The screens can be connected via USB-C.
The USB-C port on the ThinkVision P24h and P27h can supply a connected laptop with up to 45W of power, eliminating the need to plug it into a power outlet. Lenovo also provides the monitors with four USB 3.0 ports on the side. The design of the two monitors is the same except for the dimensions, as is the resolution.
Both displays have an IPS panel calibrated to display the sRGB color gamut. The monitors are adjustable in height and can be tilted. It is also possible to connect the monitors with HDMI or displayport and there is a displayport output for daisy-chaining.
Lenovo will launch the ThinkVision monitors in March. Euro prices have not been announced, but according to AnandTech, the P24h will be priced at USD 259 and the P27h will be sold for USD 329. Converted including VAT, this amounts to approximately 300 and 382 euros respectively.
