Lenovo introduces ideacentre Stick 300

Lenovo has announced a computer-on-a-stick called the Lenovo ideacentre Stick 300. The hdmi stick runs on Windows 8.1. The whole is equipped with an Atom processor and must be plugged into the HDMI input of a television or monitor.

Lenovo reports this on its site on Tuesday. The stick gets its computing power from an Intel Atom Z3735F processor and has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of flash storage. The device of only one and a half centimeters thick is also in possession of a bluetooth 4.0 module and an 802.11n connection. Physical connections are also located on the device: an HDMI port, a USB and micro USB 2.0 connection and a micro SD slot.

The ideacentre Stick 300 measures 10 by 3.8 by 1.5 centimeters and will be available from July through Lenovo’s website and later in various stores. Initially, the stick comes with Windows 8.1, but that can be upgraded to Windows 10 from July 29. The suggested retail price is now at 129 dollars, converted 115 euros.
