Lenovo Introduces 24″ All-in-One with Stand PC and Ryzen Processor
Lenovo has announced new laptops, Chromebooks and all-in-one PCs. Among the PhD students is a system with a 24″ screen that is asymmetrically connected to a compact PC with Ryzen chip that serves as a foot for the monitor.
The Lenovo IdeaCentre A540 will be available with a 24″ and a 27″ screen that are optionally touch-sensitive. The 27″ version has a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, the 24″ PhD is a 1080p model. The screens are connected to the PC part of the all-in-one via a metal stand. The top layer of that compact PC can be used to wirelessly charge devices that support the Qi standard, even when the PC itself is turned off.
Lenovo offers the IdeaCentre A540 systems in configurations with up to Core i7 processors and AMD Radeon RX560 graphics cards. The 24″ model will also be available with AMD Ryzen chips, including the Ryzen 5 3400GE. The webcam module with IR sensor can be retracted and extended at the top. The price of the 24″ IdeaCentre A540 starts at 799 euros and the starting price of the 27″ model starts at 999 euros. The PCs are expected to be available from September 2019
Lenovo is also announcing an IdeaPad laptop with a 13.3″ screen ahead of the IFA fair in Berlin. The IdeaPad S540 has an aluminum housing and IPS screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and screen brightness of 300cd/m². an Intel variant that includes, for example, the Core i7-10710U hexacore and a GeForce MX250 and an AMD model that includes the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U with Radeon RX Vega.The IdeaPad S540 starts price is 799 euros and the launch month is October The internationally announced S340 will not be released in the Benelux.
The Chromebook C340 is a 2-in-1 Chromebook that comes in 11″ and 15.6″ screen versions. It is an IPS screen with 1080p resolution. The processor is the Core i3-8130U which can have 4GB DDR4 while a maximum of 128GB emmc storage is available. The Chromebook S340 has a 14″ IPS-type screen that is touch-sensitive but does not fold. This Chrome OS laptop has a Celeron N4000 with 8GB lpddr4 and up to 64GB storage.
The 11″ Chromebook C340 will be released this month for 299 euros, while the 15.6″ version will come next month for 449 euros. The Chromebook S340 laptop should also be released in August, for a starting price of 299 euros.
