Lenovo equips 3.6cm thick desktop workstation with Intel Core i9

Lenovo introduces a small workstation with a volume of about one liter, equipped with a Core i9. The ThinkStation P350 Tiny has a thickness of 3.6cm and comes with up to a Core i9-11900, up to 64GB DDR4 and up to 4TB SSD storage.

The ThinkStation P350 Tiny is one of three new workstations from Lenovo, alongside the P350 Tower and SFF. The Tiny is by far the smallest of the three, and according to Lenovo, one of the smallest workstations on the market today. The smallest model contains a maximum of an Nvidia Quadro P1000 GPU.

According to Lenovo, the small workstation measures 18.3 by 17.9 cm, with a width of 3.6 cm. The PC has a starting weight of 1.32 kg, although there is something more if both M.2 slots and SO-DIMM slots are filled. Lenovo supplies the workstation with Windows 10 Home or Pro, or with Ubuntu or Red Hat Enterprise Linux as the operating system. The Tiny can also be expanded with various ports, including VGA, a serial port or Thunderbolt 4.

The two bigger brothers of the Tiny, the ThinkStation Tower and the SFF, also have the choice of an Intel Xeon W-1390P or W-1390 respectively as a replacement for the Core i9. The Tower can also be supplied with an Nvidia RTX card with 16GB vram and both can handle different formats of hard drives and SSDs. The Tower has a 500W or 750W power supply, the SFF version a 380W power supply.

The workstations are set to release on July 23 and will be priced at $969, 949, and $899 for the Tower, SFF, and Tiny versions. Converted, excluding VAT, that is about 820 euros for the Tower, 803 euros for the SFF and 761 euros for the Tiny. European suggested retail prices have not yet been announced.
