According to telecom insider Evan Blass, Lenovo will come with budget smartphones in a new Moto C series. It would be 5 “devices with MediaTek-socs, which run on Android 7.0. The most expensive model in the series would get a 4000mAh battery.

In his article on VentureBeat, Evan Blass has published extensive information about the upcoming smartphones, including a photo of different colorways. The Moto C models are positioned below the devices in the Moto G and E series.

The Moto C Plus model will probably get a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a 64-bit soc from MediaTek with four cores running at a speed of 1.3GHz. The 4000mAh battery in combination with the low resolution will probably ensure a long battery life. On the back is an eight-megapixel camera and the front camera has a five-megapixel resolution.

According to Blass, there will also be a Moto C in different flavors, including devices that only support 3G networks. The Moto C models have a resolution of 854×480 pixels, a 32bit SOC with four cores at 1.3GHz, or a 64bit variant at 1.1GHz and 1GB RAM. The battery in these models would have a capacity of 2350mAh and the rear and front cameras have a resolution of five and two megapixels.

All devices would get a micro-SD card slot and the internal memory is 8GB or 16GB for the Moto C models. With the Moto C Plus, that is in all cases 16GB according to the leaked information. Both models come on the market in different colors, as can be seen in the photo. When Lenovo will announce the new Motorola devices and what they will cost is not yet known.
