Lenovo announces IdeaPad Gaming 3 and 3i laptops with up to RTX 3060
Lenovo has announced a new range of IdeaPad gaming laptops. The IdeaPad Gaming 3i gets up to a twelfth generation Intel i7 and an RTX 3060 GPU. The IdeaPad Gaming 3 is the AMD variant with up to a Ryzen 7 6800H and an RTX 3050.
The AMD and Intel variants of the gaming laptops each have two versions, a 15.6″ and a 16″ version with a ratio of 16:9 and 16:10 respectively. Both Intel variants under the IdeaPad Gaming 3i name have a qhd screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz, Lenovo said in a press release. In terms of memory, there is room for up to 32GB DDR4 ram with a clock frequency of 3200MHz and an M.2 SSD of 1TB.
The variants with an AMD CPU have an identical appearance. The maximum amount of storage space also corresponds. Unlike the Intel variants, the IdeaPad Gaming 3 of 15.6″ has an FHD screen. The 16″ version does have the same QHD screen with a 16:10 ratio. Furthermore, for the AMD versions, Lenovo supports 32GB DDR5 ram at 4800MHz.
Lenovo will release the 16″ variants of the IdeaPad Gaming 3 and 3i for at least $1100, with Intel CPU laptops coming in June, while the AMD versions will hit stores in July. The 15.6″ variants of the IdeaPad Gaming 3 and 3i are on the market for 1000 euros. The Intel CPU version will be available in May, while IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptops with AMD processors will be available in June.
