Al Lowe, the creator of the well-known Leisure Suit Larry games, sells his backups of the source code for those games on eBay. “I’m old and my kids don’t want this shit!” says the 72-year-old game maker. Lowe worked at what was then called Sierra On-Line in the 1980s.

“I backed up everything because I knew Sierra didn’t do that itself,” Lowe said in an interview with YouTube channel MetalJesusRocks. The men from MJR visited Lowe to not only take a look at his archive, but to estimate what would be of most interest to collectors. The best relics have been put on eBay.

Those items are copies of the source code of Leisure Suit Larry 1 and 2, the Apple II games Bop-A-Bet and Dragon’s Keep, a Christmas card from Sierra in floppy form, and a floppy from a game called Softporn, which Lowe primarily thinks. inspired to make Leisure Suit Larry. The items are all on old 5.25″ floppy disks, with extra backups on diskettes. The rights to the games are not included.

In the tour Lowe gives, he also talks about how Sierra games developed back then. In addition, many items are reviewed that are not on eBay at the time of writing. such as hint books, prizes and photos. Lowe is expected to list even more on eBay in the near future. The items that are already online are sometimes offered for thousands of dollars.

In addition to Leisure Suit Larry, Sierra also made games such as King’s Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Mystery House and The Dark Crystal.
