Leaker Kuba Wojciechowski shared a video allegedly showing a working Google Pixel Fold. The images show that the Pixel Fold would have significant screen edges and that the design is largely the same as renders from previous leaks.

In Wojciechowski’s video shows how the device is folded open and closed. There appears to be a crease in the screen on the inside of the device. However, because the contents of the screen were blurred, it’s not clear how visible that crease will be during use.

The selfie camera on the inside screen is incorporated into the screen edges at the top right. So there is no punch-hole camera there. The video shows that there is a punch-hole selfie camera in the screen on the outside. Both the power button and the volume buttons are located on the right side of the device. The back of the device cannot be seen, although there appears to be a camera island. Wojciechowski has told the editors of The Verge that it is indeed the Pixel Fold and that the images are more than a month old.

There has been speculation about the Google Fold for months. Leaker Jon Prosser published this week a video on YouTube with new rumors about the device. According to Prosser, the screen on the inside of the Pixel Fold would be 7.6 inches in size and have an aspect ratio of 6:5. That screen would have a resolution of 2208×1840 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The outside screen would be 5.8 inches and have an aspect ratio of 17.4:9. According to Prosser, that screen has a resolution of 2092×1080 pixels and also has a refresh rate of 120Hz. Both screens are OLED panels.

According to Prosser, the foldable phone will have a primary camera with a 48-megapixel sensor. There would also be an ultrawide camera and a telephoto camera. Both could shoot pictures of 10.8 megapixels. The selfie camera on the outside of the device is said to contain a 9.5-megapixel sensor. The one on the inside would support 8 megapixels.

The Pixel Fold is also said to run on a new SoC, the Tensor G2. The device would have 12GB of RAM and be available in a 256GB or 512GB variant. The 256GB variant will cost $1,799 and will be available in two colors: obsidian and chalck. The 512GB variant will cost $1,919 and will only be available in obsidian. Prosser believes that Google will introduce the foldable phone during the next Google I/O event wants to introduce. That event starts on May 10.
