Leaked Windows 10 build includes Messaging and Skype Video apps
A build of Windows 10 has been released that includes the new Messaging and Skype Video applications. The software also contains a number of new features, including the ability to install applications on external storage.
Information about the new build, which appears to be aimed at people participating in the Insiders program, came to Outside via the Twitter account WZor. The person who manages this account has more often than not been the first to distribute new builds. It concerns version number 10558, with the biggest change being the delivery of Messaging and Skype Video. The former allows users to chat with each other while Skype Video is a new version of the voip software.
Build 10558, however, contains more innovations; improvements have been made to the Edge browser, several icons have been changed and there is a find my device feature, which uses the location of the Windows 10 device. It will also be possible to install applications on external storage devices, which can be useful, for example, for users with limited internal storage memory.
It is unknown when the leaked build will be available to Insiders. For now, the most recent build as released by Microsoft is version number 10547. It was announced last month.
