Leaked promotional video of Google Pixel 8 points to the arrival of a Magic Eraser function for audio
Leaked promotional images of the Google Pixel 8 series show a feature that can reduce background noise in videos. The feature is called Audio Magic Eraser. A blue version of the device can also be seen in the video.
Existing Google Pixel phones have a Magic Eraser function to remove objects from images. The Audio Magic Eraser feature seems to do something similar with background noise and includes options for ‘noise’, ‘people’ and ‘music’. A slider can be used to determine to what extent the background noise should be reduced. The promo images have been shared by an unknown user on Xformerly known as Twitter.
The Google Pixel 8 is expected later this year with 128 or 256GB of storage. The Pro variant of the device may have up to 512GB of storage. The Pixel 8 will reportedly be priced at $649 or $699. Furthermore, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a Tensor G3 SoC and a 50-megapixel main camera are expected in the device.
