Leaked presentation confirms arrival and specifications Google Nexus 6P
All details of the as yet unannounced smartphone Nexus 6P seem to be on the street. A leaked presentation shows that the device will have a 5.7 “screen and a Snapdragon 810-soc, as previously reported in rumors. There is a 3450mAh battery and a maximum of 128GB storage memory.
The presentation in question was uploaded on the image upload site Imgur. The exact source is unclear, but the slides shown appear to be authentic and intended for promotional purposes. The specifications mentioned show that the already rumored 5.7″ screen in the Nexus 6P has a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The soc is version 2.1 of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 soc.
Furthermore, in the presentation, Google emphasizes the characteristics of the camera, which should perform better in low-light conditions, compared to previous models. The metal housing is also shown, which also contains a fingerprint scanner on the back. The battery has a capacity of 3450mAh, the weight is 178 grams and there are two speakers on the front.
Also present is a USB-c port and a glass layer of the type Gorilla Glass 4. Google will sell the Nexus 6P with a capacity of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The available colors will then be aluminum, graphite, ‘frost’ and gold, with the latter being sold only in Japan at first.
In previous rumors, many features of the Nexus 6P were already mentioned. Due to the leaking of the presentation, all the details now seem to be out. Google is expected to announce the new device on September 29; then the internet giant has planned an event. At the same time, the new Nexus 5X will probably arrive, of which details have already surfaced several times. The arrival of the device was confirmed by the American telecom watchdog FCC, which published some details, Android Police discovered. Both smartphones run on Android Marshmallow, the new version of the OS that comes with the two devices.
