Leaked Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage appears online
Gameplay footage of Cyberpunk 2077 has surfaced online. This is a live stream with twenty minutes of footage from the PS4 version of the game. The game will be officially released on December 10th.
The images were initially streamed, but the images were later taken offline, IGN also reports. Mirrors of the stream can now be found. The leaked video shows short footage of the character creation process, as well as the start of a Nomad playthrough, where the player drives through the Badlands and fixes a radio tower. The visuals are not very comprehensive in themselves, but do show the PS4 version of the game for the first time, although it is unclear whether the game was played on a PS4 Pro or a regular model.
This does mean that more spoiler-sensitive images may leak out in the long run, even before the game is released in December. Earlier this year , several spoiler-sensitive The Last of Us 2 images leaked. Those videos were later circulated on social media as Twitter.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed several times. The game was initially scheduled for release in April, but was later delayed to September 17 and later to November 19. Subsequently, the game was postponed again to December 10 a few weeks before release , because the current-gen versions of the game were not yet running smoothly. Just before that, it came out that the development team had to run six-day working weeks to get the game finished on time. The game had already been sent for certification by then. With that, physical versions of the game are already being produced. Photos of the physical PS4 version have already appeared on Reddit recently.
