Latest iOS version Google Keep shows notes on the Apple Watch
The latest iOS version of the Google Keep note-taking app can also display the user’s notes on the Apple Watch. It is only the second time for Google that the company supports Apple’s clock, after Maps abruptly disappeared from the clock in 2017.
With Keep, Google is once again present on the Apple Watch for the first time in two years. The app shows the user his ten most recent notes created with the smartphone app or with the Google Keep website.
The user can also make new notes or lists via the smart watch by writing letters on the screen or by dictating them. Items in lists can be checked off and the app also supports the input of emoji. Furthermore, it is possible to archive notes via a force touch or pin them to the top of the list.
In 2017, Google, Amazon and eBay withdrew their apps from the Apple Watch. Google stated to Engadget at the time that Maps would return at a later date, but that has not happened to date.
