Large icon in iOS 12 shows redesign iPad Pro
The site 9to5Mac has found a big icon in iOS 12 for the new iPad Pro. The icon shows several buttons, but no Home button. The screen also has rounded corners, like the recently released iPhone XR.

The icon shows an iPad with large screen edges, but according to 9to5Mac this may be because the icon must also be clear at smaller sizes and therefore needs a thick border, something that also happened with the iPhone X last year. The site does not mention where exactly. in iOS it has found the large version of the icon.
Round screen corners can be found on the icon. Because it is probably an LCD, after the iPhone XR that came out last week, it is Apple’s second product this fall with an LCD that has rounded corners. The Apple Watch and iPhone XS phone also have rounded corners, but they have an OLED screen.
The icon also shows volume buttons and an On/Off button. The Home button is not visible. It is expected that the upcoming iPads, just like recent iPhones, will have a 3D face scanner under the name Face ID. In addition, it would be the first iOS devices with a USB-C port. This is necessary to be able to control an external screen with 4k resolution.
Apple has scheduled an event for Tuesday, presumably to announce the new iPad Pros along with new Mac products. Among them would be a successor to the MacBook Air and a new Mac Mini.
