Kung fu game Sifu will be released on February 22, 2022
Developer Sloclap will release kung fu game Sifu on February 22, 2022 for PlayStation consoles and on the Epic Games Store. The game was made by the studio behind Absolver from 2017 and costs forty euros.
The announcement of the release date is accompanied by a new trailer, in which many fight scenes follow each other in rapid succession. Sifu was announced early this year. It is an action game with a third-person perspective and players take on the role of a young kung fu student who is out to get revenge for the murder of his family.
The main character in the game can rise from the dead, but the disadvantage is that he gets a lot older each time. This is visible in the game, for example in the gray hair. Sifu is set in a fictional Chinese city. The makers promise realistic intense fights, reminiscent of those from classic kung fu movies.
The game is made by the French studio Sloclap. He released his first game in 2017 with Absolver. That too was a fighting game. The studio was set up by ex-Ubisoft employees who worked on Watchdogs at that company. The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 and a PC version will appear on the Epic Games Store. The standard edition costs 40 euros.
