Konami bundles 13 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games for consoles and PC
Konami is releasing a collection of thirteen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games for consoles and Windows PCs. The Cowabunga Collection games previously appeared for arcade machines, the NES and the SEGA Mega Drive, among others.
The thirteen classic TMNT games have been adapted for modern times by game developer Digital Eclipse and include save and rewind functions. Konami provides digital game guides with The Cowabunga Collection for players who want combat support and difficult parts. TMNT (Arcade), TMNT: Turtles in Time (Arcade), TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist and TMNT Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo) also offer online play.
The collection consists of two arcade games, four games released for the Nintendo NES, two Super NES games, two SEGA Mega Drive games, and three TMNT games released on the Game Boy. Konami showed during Sony’s State of Playevent footage of the four pizza-eating and fighting turtles in action in the 8bit and 16bit retro games.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cobabunga Collection will be released sometime this year for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PCs via Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. The collection costs 40 dollars, converted and with VAT that is 44 euros.
