Konami announces PES 2010
Publisher Konami has announced PES 2010. The football game is set to release in the fall of this year on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PSP and PS2. New adjustments should make the game more realistic again this year.
In the engine of PES 2010, as the game is officially called, Konami has made several changes in response to user feedback, making PES 2010 more realistic than the previous games in the series. Like last year, FC Barcelona player Lionel Messi will be the face of the football game, Konami said on Wednesday familiar.
In addition to obvious improvements such as better graphics and smoother animations, Konami also takes the gameplay in hand in PES 2010. For example, computer-controlled defenders will pay more attention to open spaces, so that attackers cannot constantly use the same patterns. Midfielders can take into account the quality of defenders and lower back where necessary to provide back cover. Offensively, there’s the option to have multiple players run in different directions at the same time, creating more play options for attackers. In addition, more players will automatically enter the penalty area if there is a player in possession who has a good cross in the house.
In addition to gameplay improvements, Konami also tackles several existing game modes. For example, the ‘Master League’ will be expanded with more management options. Furthermore, the publisher managed to obtain a license for the UEFA Cup. There will also be more updates to the game in the form of other new licenses and updates to the already licensed teams. Furthermore, Konami is making changes to the way penalty kicks are taken and improving the atmosphere in the stadiums.
