Kingston comes with a new PCI-e SSD. The KC2500 models have a read speed of up to 3500MB/s and write speeds of up to 2900MB/s per second. There will be versions of 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB, but the company has not yet announced prices.

The SSDs use 96-layer TLC NAND, a PCI-E 3.0 x4 interface and a Silicon Motion SM2262EN controller, which the Kingston KC2000 also has. The SSDs have the m2-2280 form factor and the capacities are 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB.

However, the two smallest SSDs have a lower sequential write speed: 1200MB per second for the 250GB and 2500MB per second for the 500GB. The endurance also varies: from 150TBW for the smallest model to 1.2PBW for the largest.

Kingston has not yet announced what the prices of the KC2500 models will be.
