Kingston has started selling a 2TB variant of its KC2500 SSD. Earlier, the manufacturer already released SSDs from 250GB to 1TB in that series. These are m2-nvme ssds that use the pci-e 3.0 x4 interface.

The 2TB version of the Kingston KC2500 SSD is in the Pricewatch at one store with a price of about 443 euros. The 2TB version of the SSD has no price on the Kingston website, but the 1TB model costs about 240 euros there.

Kingston announced the KC2500 series of SSDs in April and has already released variants with capacities of 250GB, 500GB and 1TB. These are m2 NVME SSDs with a PCI-e 3.0 x4 interface, which use 96-layer TLC Nand memory and are equipped with Silicon Motion SM2262EN controller. The SSDs have 256-bit AES-XTS encryption.

The new 2TB model offers the same sequential read and write speeds as the 1TB version, but has a longer lifespan. The SSDs in the KC2500 series are currently Kingston’s fastest SSDs.
