Kingmax comes with ddr3 and ddr4 ram for overclocked gaming PCs
Memory manufacturer Kingmax is releasing a new line of ddr3 and ddr4 ram for game systems this spring. The series comes out under the name Zeus and is mainly aimed at gamers who overclock their systems.
The ddr4 versions of the Zeus line come with an instant-cooling heatsink and are released in 2800MHz, 3000MHz and 3200MHz versions. The memory modules are available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB variants. The modules operate at 1.35V.
Kingmax also comes with ddr3 ram in the Zeus series. These bars are clocked at 1600MHz, 1866MHz and 2133MHz. They have a cas latency of 11 and do their job at a voltage of 1.5 volts. The memory modules come in a red, blue and silver color and are all suitable for use in an overclocked system, according to Kingmax. For example, both the ddr3 and ddr4 ram support Intel XMP. It is still unknown how much the different modules from the Zeus line will cost. It has not yet been announced when the modules will be available.
