Keychron introduces sub-brand Lemokey for gaming keyboards
Keyboard manufacturer Keychron introduces the sub-brand Lemokey. The brand also immediately announces the first keyboard under Lemokey, the L3. This keyboard must be funded through Kickstarter.
Keychron mentions Lemokey a ‘gaming brand focused on creating custom premium keyboards and peripherals’. Furthermore, the Hong Kong company says little about the content of the new brand, for example about what kind of peripheral equipment should be released. Keychron is known for its focus on customizable mechanical keyboards, often made of slightly more expensive materials such as aluminum.
The wireless Lemokey L3 also has mechanical switches and an aluminum housing. The keyboard connects to a connected PC via 2.4GHz. The keys would have a polling rate of 1000Hz and can be hotswapped. On the left side of the keyboard there is a rotatable button and four macro keys. It is not yet clear what the Lemokey L3 should cost and when the Kickstarter project should be delivered.
