Kerbal Space Program Expansion with Mission Builder Coming March 13
The developers of Kerbal Space Program announce that the Making History expansion will be released for PC on March 13. The expansion lets players create and share missions with the Mission Builder. There are also missions inspired by historical events in the DLC.
The team behind the game says in the announcement that the expansion has been in the works for more than a year. The Mission Builder allows players to create scenarios and share them with other players. A History Pack is included with the expansion. That is a set of missions inspired by historical space travel moments.
Missions can have different objectives such as launches, landings, rescues, troubleshooting, making repairs and more. According to the developers, it is possible to implement unexpected obstacles in the missions, to challenge other players. Furthermore, the expansion adds new parts and astronaut suits.
The Making History Expansion for the PC version of Kerbal Space Program costs $14.99. A euro price is not yet known. Players who purchased Kerbal Space Program before April 2013 will receive the expansion for free. As the release gets closer, the developers will announce how that will happen.
