Kerbal Space Program, a space simulator, will also be released for the PlayStation 4. The Kerbal Space Program team announced this at E3. When the game should be ready for the PS4 has not yet been announced.

The post on the Kerbal-Tumblr blog leaves no doubt about the game’s arrival on Sony’s platform. It officially came out on April 27, 2015 for Linux, Windows and OS X after a beta period on Steam of more than two years. In the game, players must lead a space program, build a spacecraft during that time and fly it under simulated conditions, such as weightlessness and other physical properties of moving through space.

The game relies on an active community and because of that there are many mods available. The Kerbals are a race of small, green, humanoid creatures that live on the planet Kerbin, similar to Earth. Because the spheres of influence of nearby celestial bodies have been included in the simulations, the game has received a lot of attention from scientists involved in space travel.
