Kerbal Space Program 2 launches in early access on PC on February 24, 2023
Kerbal Space Program 2 will be released in early access on February 24, 2023. This only applies to the PC versions of the game. The versions for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One will follow later. KSP2 will be sold in early access for $49.99.
The successor to the space simulator adds according to publisher Private Division include new star systems, interstellar travel technologies, colonies and multiplayer. New engines, parts and fuels are also available.
The release date comes after Kerbal Space Program 2 was delayed for a third time in the middle of this year. Initially, the space simulator was expected to appear at the beginning of 2020. Due to the corona pandemic, among other things, the game was postponed to the third quarter of 2021, which then became ‘2022’ in order to achieve a reliable release. Finally, the release was again postponed to ‘early 2023’ to dot the ‘i’ even more.
Kerbal Space Program 2 will be released in early access on PC on February 24, where the game will be made available through platforms such as Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game will be released at a later date for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series X and S, and the Xbox One.
