Kena: Bridge of Spirits has been postponed to September 21
Ember Lab postpones its debut game Kena: Bridge of Spirits one more time. The game will be released about a month later than the last communicated date, as the team wants to polish the game for all platforms. The game is coming to the PS4, PS5, and PC.
At the beginning of this year, the studio said the game would be released on August 24. Now reports Ember Lab on Twitter that this has been postponed to September 21. In a short statement, the studio said that the game is being worked hard and that the postponement is to ensure that players get the “best experience possible”.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits was announced in June last year. Sony showed the game in its PlayStation 5 presentation at the time, but the game is also coming to PS4 and PC. At the time, a release was promised at the end of 2020 and then it was postponed to early 2021. The game costs 40 euros. The PC version will appear on the Epic Games Store.
The game is about Kena, a young Spirit Guide, who goes on an adventure in an overgrown forest and an abandoned village. The game world is full of ‘timid and elusive ghosts’, who keep the balance in the forest by decomposing rotten elements. Collecting Rot allows players to develop skills and transform the environment. The game is made by Ember Lab, a new independent studio with several dozen employees.
