Katamari Damacy Reroll is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch
The first Katamari Damacy game is getting a remaster for PC and Nintendo Switch. It will be released on November 30 on the eShop and on December 7 on Steam. The original game came out for the PlayStation 2 in 2004, but only in Japan and North America.
Nintendo revealed Katamari Damacy Reroll in the September 14 Nintendo Direct broadcast. The Switch version allows the player to use the gyroscope controls and both versions have a two-player mode. The original game was never released in Europe. The games that followed did have a European release. In addition, it is the first time that a main series game will not be released for the PlayStation or any other platform from Sony.
Katamari Damacy was developed by Namco. In the game you play as The Prince of All Cosmos. His father, the king, in a confused mood has destroyed all the stars in the universe. The Prince has to create new stars by rolling random objects into a big ball, within a time limit. The game has several missions with specific assignments. For example, there is a mission where you can only roll up two of the same objects to make the constellation Gemini.
