Just Cause 4 coming December 4th

Just Cause 4 will be released on December 4 at the end of this year. Developer Avalanche Studios announced this during Microsoft’s E3 event. The game is based on a new engine.

In Just Cause 4 goes down main character Rico Rodriguez is in the fictional South American Solis and can again deploy various vehicles such as helicopters, motorcycles, fighter jets and boats. Among other things, the character Gabriella plays a role; she is the leader of the Black Hand organization.

New is the option to use mods for the grappling hook, for example for electric charge or missiles to fly targets into the air. In addition, there is the Air Lifter, which allows players to levitate people or objects by attaching helium balloons to it.

Avalanche Studios has used its new APEX game engine for Just Cause 4, IGN reports, which includes improved rendering of physical phenomena such as weather conditions. For example, the game’s trailer shows a tornado swallowing everything in its path.

The game will be released on December 4 for the Xbox One. Just Cause 4 is a game from publisher Square Enix, which has its press conference on Monday evening and may announce even more.
