Jonsbo Showcases Compact Mini-ITX Enclosure With Space For Five 3.5″ HDDs
Jonsbo presents the N1, a Mini-ITX case with dimensions of 170x354x217mm. The compact housing can accommodate up to five 3.5″ HDDs. The video card can be a maximum of 185mm long and must be a low-profile model.
The rectangular Jonsbo N1 housing can be used horizontally and vertically and consists of a steel chassis surrounded by a 3mm thick aluminum frame. There is room for a maximum of five 3.5″ HDDs, an SFF power supply with a length of up to 150 mm and the CPU cooler can be a maximum of 70 mm high. The manufacturer supplies an unspecified 140 mm fan. The front panel is equipped with a USB-A and USB-C port and a 3.5mm combo jack.
There is not much room for a video card. According to Jonsbo, it should be a low-profile version with a maximum length of 185mm. This makes the fastest GPU that fits in the housing is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. There are RTX 3060 cards less than 185 mm long, but those are not low-profile models.
The design of the Jonsbo N1 resembles that of the Jonsbo V8 introduced last year. That larger model has more space for a video card and less space for HDDs. It is not yet known what the N1 housing will cost and when it will be available.
