Jolla has announced that participants in the fundraiser on Indiegogo will have the option to equip the Jolla Tablet with 64GB of storage for an additional cost of $25. The regular version offers 32GB.

The upgrade option was initially only valid for so-called early birds who contributed to the collection for the tablet in 2014, but now the 64GB option would also be possible with new orders. The tablet with that storage capacity will cost $ 249, or 220 euros. For the 32GB version, 219 dollars, converted 193 euros, must be deposited. According to current expectations, the tablets will be delivered to the first customers in May or June.

Jolla’s tablet features a 64-bit quad-core soc from Intel with a clock speed of 1.8GHz. There is 2GB of RAM, along with 32GB or 64GB of flash storage. The 7.85″ touchscreen contains an IPS panel with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels, good for 330ppi. Jolla recently announced that the battery capacity has been increased from 4300mAh to 4450mAh. The tablet can also handle microSD cards up to 128GB. Sailfish 2.0 will be installed as the operating system, an OS that focuses on privacy functionality and multitasking capabilities, among other things.
