ID Software co-founder and Doom designer John Romero has released a new Doom 2 level. This level, called One Humanity, costs 5 euros. Romero writes that all proceeds will be used to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.

“To support the people of Ukraine and the humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross and the UN Central Emergency Response Fund, I am releasing a new DOOM 2 level for a donation of five euros,” Romero wrote on Twitter. He also reports that 100 percent of the proceeds go to those organizations.

Romero introduces the level on his website. Players get a .wad file with a readme and necessary external moddata. One Humanity is the first Doom 2 level Romero has created since the game’s release in 1994. Players will need the original game and a modern source port to play the level.
