Japanese manufacturer of Windows 10 phone comes with Android model
The Japanese manufacturer NuAns has presented its second smartphone. Where the first phone Neo ran on Windows 10 Mobile, it is now a model with Android. It is again a phone that can accommodate two different cases at the same time.
The NuAns Neo Reloaded consists of a ‘core’ on which users can click two covers themselves: one goes on the top half and the second on the bottom. These can be covers made of different materials, including plastic and wood.
Many characteristics are different from the model with Windows 10 Mobile. The screen is larger and has a higher resolution, while it has a more modern and more economical soc. In addition, there is a fingerprint scanner under the screen.
The device will run on Android 7.1. The Japanese manufacturer does not build in an antenna for the reception of 4g at 800MHz, but all other frequency bands for 4g used in the Benelux do work. The phone starts at $360 including the covers. The campaign has just started and the goal of $100,000 is currently far from being reached.
