Jaguar is launching the I-Pace this year, a fully electric car that was previously presented as a concept. The car has two electric motors, for a total power of 400 hp and 696 Nm of torque.

With its electric motors, the car is claimed to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The Jaguar I-Pace has a battery capacity of 90 kWh and this gives the vehicle a range of 480 kilometers based on the Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure or wltp, which would give a more realistic picture than the outdated nedc test that some manufacturers still handle.

In forty minutes the battery of the I-Pace can be charged to 80 percent of its capacity, when using a 100 kW fast charger and within fifteen minutes a range of 100 kilometers would be within range again. With a 7kW charger, it takes just over ten hours for the battery to be fully charged.

The five passengers can use USB charging points and a 4G WiFi hotspot. The latter does require a SIM card. There are also two touchscreens for the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. The Jaguar InControl Remote app works in conjunction with an Alexa Skill, allowing users to voice questions about vehicle settings, such as charge level and whether the doors are locked or not. The software of the I-Pace will receive over-the-air updates.

The starting price of the car is 80,330 euros and it will be available later this year.
