Jabra announces the second generations of the Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 for 229 and 279 euros respectively. The earbuds come with a special case that can stream music from another source to the earbuds. These are the last earphones that the brand will release.

Both the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and the Elite 10 Gen 2 come in a 'LE Audio smart case', which can be connected to various audio sources with a USB-C cable or 3.5mm jack. The case supports Dolby Audio, with the Elite 10 also supporting Dolby Head Tracking and Dolby Atmos.

Jabra does not reveal the battery capacity of the case, but the Elite 8 Active should be able to provide up to 32 hours of power, while the Elite 10 should get about 27 hours, in both cases with active noise cancellation enabled. The earbuds last eight and six hours respectively on a single battery charge. Both products support a transparency mode, but Jabra calls this 'Adaptive Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation' for the Elite 8 Active and 'Advanced Active Noise Cancellation' for the Elite 10. In both cases, noise cancellation is said to be up to two times more effective compared to first-generation equivalents. Both earbuds support multipoint connections.

The audio brand simultaneously announces the end of the development of wireless earbuds with the two sets of earbuds. Products must continue to be supported in the coming years, but Jabra does not specifically indicate for how long. As far as we know, the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and the Elite 10 Gen 2 are the brand's last wireless earbuds.
